22@ NETWORK BARCELONA MEETS WITH IDEAL BARCELONA, PROTOTYPES FOR HUMANITY, AND THE ASSOCIATION OF ARTISTS AND ARTISANS TO PRESENT NEW PROPOSALS FOR DUBAI ARTS GROUP AND B2 INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING

On June 6th, 2024, 22@Network Barcelona had the privilege of meeting with the delegation from Grupo Dubai Arts and B2 International Consulting to present the new proposals of IDEAL Barcelona, Prototypes for Humanity, and the Association of Artistas and Artesanos. Each organization had the opportunity to introduce themselves and showcase their immersive art projects being implemented globally. 


The meeting began with Jordi Sellas, a member of 22@Network Barcelona, who presented the latest projects of IDEAL Barcelona and highlighted the importance of being based in Barcelona. He emphasized the use of sustainable practices in the virtual reality sector and the importance of creating memorable experiences. 


Subsequently, Isabel Sabadí introduced the association and its role in the development of Barcelona. She elaborated on the projects in the Poble Nou sector and the achievements of recent years. Isabel emphasized that art is a central theme for 22@Network Barcelona, through its Commission on Creativity, Design, and Culture, as they have been connecting art companies not only in Barcelona but on a global scale. 


Futhermore, Alexandre Costa Barbosa and Marc Flo from B2 International Consulting discussed the importance of building artistic ecosystems and promoting digital art in dynamic cities like Barcelona and Dubai. Carol Fleischman highlighted the importance of bringing emerging and creative artists to this innovative platform and how the association of Artistas and Artesanos allows them to explore new branches of art. 


Finally, the CEO of Grupo Dubai Arts, Ben Floyd, discussed futuristic art projects in Dubai. He spoke about the crucial role of innovation for the government of the United Arab Emirates. He also mentioned the importance of the Dubai Future Foundation and expressed interest in introducing immersive VR experiences in the future. 


The aim of the meeting was to provide these companies with the opportunity to connect and share their vision for the future presentation of art.
