According to the data collected by the association, 80% of the companies in the 22@ district show a lack of talent. For this reason, Iolanda Triviño, President of the Talent Commission, defends "Talent effect" as the 22@Network BCN's bet to combine the two sides of the 22@ district: business innovation and vulnerability, the digital gap and social inequality.

In this sense, Urreta explains how the program seeks to foster synergies between the social, productive and educational fabric of the 22@ at the same time as "solving shortcomings, generating opportunities, and contributing to the development process of the 22@ taking into account the multiple realities that agglutinates".

According to the President of the ODS Commission of the association, Natalia Valenzuela, the program is born from the values defended by the association, corporate social responsibility and the commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) shared with its members.

The objective of the association is to serve 200 people until the end of the year to carry out the competency assessment based on the needs that arise in the district, giving support and accompanying profiles that lack resources to develop his talent

According to Valenzuela, "there is a need in the district and the tools are available to launch the project", but the commitment of the business sector is needed, which is why the association calls for the participation of associated companies.

Inetum is one of the companies involved in the project. The director of the office in Catalonia, Susana Prado, has reiterated that this is an initiative with a double objective and common benefit: it seeks, on the one hand, to promote the skills development of that vulnerable population with an interest in redirecting their professional career or rejoining the world of work, and on the other hand, solving the shortcomings of the business sector, pulling the district and from his experience, with actions like this, you see the direct impact on families. "When you do actions like these from the company, and you see with your own eyes the transformation in the lives of people and their families, you realize how important it is to give these opportunities," declares Prado.
