At the Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC25), 22@Network Barcelona and Global Connect, the virtual community platform established and managed by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening ties between international startups and the Asian market.

The agreement was signed on March 4, 2025, during MWC25, and was led by Susana Prado, President of 22@Network Barcelona, who represented the association during this significant milestone. On behalf of Global Connect, the agreement was signed by Mr. Albert Wong Hak-Keung, CEO, who expressed great enthusiasm about this strategic collaboration.

The primary goal of the agreement is to foster international innovation exchange between startups around the world, with a particular focus on the Asian market, a key region for the development and expansion of new technologies. Following the signing of the agreement, attendees were invited to an exclusive VIP Guided Tour of the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion, where they had the chance to explore the latest technological innovations from Hong Kong and its startup ecosystem.
