22@Network Barcelona participated in the 40th IASP World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation. Held at ECCL - European Convention Center Luxembourg on 12-15 September 2023, the conference gathered a diverse group of experts and practitioners who delivered plenary and breakout sessions, as well as focus talks surrounding the possible futures STPs and AOIs may encounter.

Attendees enjoyed a knowledge-heavy program designed to help them in addressing the challenges brought by global megatrends, intertwined with social events, cultural, and technical tours to allow them to disconnect from the morning sessions, to network in a more informal way and to learn about Luxembourg’s history and rising industries.

The IASP Innovation Districts Alliance, of which 22@Network Barcelona is a founding member, was newly presented during the conference after the first introduction last February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Our Director, Isabel Sabadí, attended the presentation and first meeting of the Alliance which aims to share experiences and knowledge between its members.
