Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Master’s students from PolyU Business School of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to Barcelona’s 22@ Innovation District.

The visit was part of their academic trip to Barcelona, aimed at learning more about the city’s business environment and innovation ecosystem, with a special focus on the transformation and development of the 22@ district.

During the session, we shared an overview of the district’s evolution, from its industrial origins to becoming one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation, technology, and knowledge-based activity, as well as the role of our association in fostering collaboration and contributing to the district’s growth and positioning.

After the presentation, we guided the group through some of the district’s most emblematic locations, offering them a first-hand look at the urban transformation and innovative environment that define 22@ today.

It was a great opportunity to exchange perspectives on innovation ecosystems, urban development, and the value of connecting academia, institutions, and businesses.
