On November 19, a United States institutional delegation visited Barcelona’s 22@ district to learn about its urban regeneration model, recognized globally for transforming industrial areas into innovation ecosystems. 

During the tour, led by Isabel Sabadí, Director of 22@Network Barcelona, the delegation explored how 22@ has combined sustainability, technology, and public-private collaboration to attract tech companies, startups, universities, and research centers. 

They visited emblematic sites such as the Media-TIC building and revitalized public spaces, expressing interest in adapting aspects of Barcelona's model to urban projects in the United States. 

This visit reaffirmed Barcelona’s leadership in sustainable urban development and fostered an exchange of ideas to tackle global urban planning challenges.
