WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY VISITS THE 22@

On August 24, Washington University visited the 22@ innovation district and held one of our 22@TOURS to find out how state-of-the-art technology is implemented in Barcelona in a neighborhood in transformation such as 22@.

The tour began with a presentation by Isabel Sabadí, Managing Director of 22@Network BCN, who was in charge of welcoming and introducing the 22@TOUR. Next, Frank Alonso, Partner and Program Director, B-Combinator, explained how the incubator builds and invests in new companies that have the potential to grow rapidly and expand globally. Finally, the TOUR ended with the presentation of several Startups, Mentory by CEO Félix Dor and Star Learn by COO J. Miguel Cortés.

Washington University founded in 1853 is a private university located in Saint Louis, Missouri, in the United States. The university has students and faculty from all 50 US states and more than 125 nations. Twenty-two Nobel Prize winners have had affiliation with the university.
