IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES IN THE 22@

Catherine Antheunissens,

22@Network BCN, with the support of Institute for Futures and Valkiria Hub Space, will hold a day of immersion in sustainable practices involving talent.

22@NETWORK BCN, Institute for Futures together with Valkiria Hub Space presented the first edition of 22@INNO-WORKSHOPS immersive experiences. It has been an immersive and gamified learning day, including real cases of success in companies, entities and institutions which are part of the 22@ ecosystem, the world's first innovation district. This initiative is based on an experiential tour and a co-creation workshop which develops itself with the participants, focusing on how to implement sustainable practices for talent and innovation, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) of the 2030 Agenda.

The introduction was given by the founder and CEO of the Institute for Futures, Iolanda Triviño, who gave way to Mayrilian Acosta, UN employee. She gave us details on the importance of talent as a driving force to achieve the SDGs and statistics of the 2030 Agenda. In addition, we counted on the special participation of Lissette Cruz, Executive Director of Valkiria Hub Space, who spoke about the importance of holding sustainable events .

The participants visited and learned about three examples of success represented by organizations that are already implementing disruptive initiatives on talent and sustainability: Teamlabs from Universidad Mondragon, Plataforma Social Suara together with Fundació IRES and Fundació Formació i Treball.

They started the tour in Teamlabs, the university of entrepreneurs associated with Mondragón University, with Carla Filannino, community coach, who shared their vision of the educational sector and how they work with young talent.

After this visit, they continued with the visit to the Suara platform, to visit the IRES Foundation, its social LAB in the company of Johanna Rivera, director of communication and fundraising, and Mariona Auradell, responsible for the Sant Martí ecosystem, who they gave a talk about their innovative laboratory and how to reintegrate talent into the community.

Finally, the participants went to the Valkiria Hub, and Miquel Vidal, circular economy coordinator of Fundació Formació i Treball, shared his idea of innovation in the textile sector and how they give products a second life. He also introduced us to the upcoming circular economy conferences that will take place in Barcelona in June.

The immersive experience culminated with an Inno-Workshop of co-creation with Manual Thinking, where attendees discussed the best sustainable practices they could implement in their organizations. And in addition, they worked on a sustainability plan associated with the transformation of talent in each of the organizations that participated.

Valkiria Hub Space and Institute for Futures together with the association 22@Network BCN, have been creating projects associated with innovation and talent for more than 10 years, we help companies and institutions at local and international level to make their best practices visible and to share them in a learning framework and knowledge transfer.
