El pasado 4 de noviembre, la asociación empresarial 22@Network Barcelona recibió a una delegación de Atout France, la Agencia de Desarrollo Turístico de Francia, para explorar oportunidades de colaboración en innovación urbana y turismo sostenible, alineados con el objetivo de Francia de convertirse en un referente de turismo duradero para 2030.
Durante la visita, se presentó la historia y evolución del distrito de innovación 22@, seguido de un recorrido por sus espacios emblemáticos como la Plaza Gutenberg de la UPF Poblenou, el edificio Media-TIC, ícono de arquitectura sostenible, y la primera superilla, un innovador proyecto de urbanismo que promueve la movilidad peatonal y la calidad de vida urbana.
El encuentro permitió el intercambio de conocimientos entre ambas entidades en torno a la sostenibilidad y el desarrollo de un turismo responsable, destacando al distrito 22@ como un modelo de transformación urbana sostenible y estableciendo bases para futuras colaboraciones internacionales.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) and the Paris Metropolitan Region directly to the 22@ Innovation District in Barcelona.
The visit was coordinated by Kelly Rowe and brought together international professionals working in urban innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Hosted at the Poblenou Campus of UPF, the session included an introduction to the history and evolution of the 22@ district, followed by a tour of key innovation and sustainability landmarks such as Districlima, the Superblock, and the Mediatic Building.

On Tuesday, November 4, we welcomed a delegation from White City, London (Hammersmith & Fulham), who visited the 22@ district as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress.
The delegation included Callum Nimmo (Councillor for Hammersmith Broadway | H&F Labour Borough Organiser), Nikos Souslous (Chief of Staff at the House of Commons | Labour Councillor for Fulham Reach), and Vincen Mathai (Strategic Relationship Manager at Hammersmith & Fulham Council).
They were received by Isabel Sabadí, Director of 22@Network Barcelona, who presented the innovation and urban transformation model of the 22@ district, highlighting its companies, sustainability projects, and talent ecosystem.
