Last May 15, the Business and Sustainability Commission of the 22@Network Barcelona organized a 22@Tour at the Specific Hydrogen Research Center (CER - H2) of the UPC.
The tour began with a brief explanation of the campus by Adriana Ferran, Director of the UPC CBD Campus and the School of Engineering of Barcelona East (EEBE) of the UPC, followed by an introduction by Grisha Domakowski, of the b_Tec Foundation .
Xavier Bernat, Sustainability Director of Aigües de Barcelona added that 1.1% of the annual activity figure of Aigües de Barcelona is invested in innovation. In addition, he presented the RESSONA project, which is based on the resilience and sustainability of the water cycle.
Then, Miquel Vidal, Circular Economy Coordinator for Training and Work presented the Returnable Take Away project that is being carried out in 6 European cities, including Barcelona, and focusing on 22@ and Poblenou. Its main objective of reuse in the social imagination is to increase the knowledge and participation of bars, restaurants and canteens in this project.
Finally, a visit was made to the Hydrogen laboratory by Attila Husar, deputy director of the center.
The visit ended with a Networking coffee break in the center.
