  • What would be the Elevator Pitch of SB HOTELS?

SB Hotels is a hotel chain with more than 30 years of history. We currently have 9 hotels in Barcelona, Tarragona, Tierras del Ebro and Madrid. Our leitmotif is the Mediterranean Urban Concept. A way of understanding the relationships between people, gastronomy and, in short, a lifestyle that makes us transmit the best of the Mediterranean spirit.


  • What is the key success factor in your company?

We have urban hotels in strategic locations for the corporate, crew and MICE segment, with hotels near Barcelona airport or Barajas airport, at the CCIB, at the Barcelona Trade Fair, as well as in the nerve center of 22@ . But we also work and take care of the individual and family tourism segment, who value our close and personalized treatment and who enjoy more leisure-oriented locations such as the Olympic Village in Barcelona, the center of Tarragona or the Ebro Lands.


  • What project are you currently working on?

The pandemic has forced us to seek solutions for our clients. Aware of the current needs involved in organizing events, we have created a new line of virtual and hybrid events. We have set up two sets in two of our 4 * Sup hotels in Barcelona, equipped with high technology and allowing us to continue working, taking into account all security measures. These two sets have been operative for months and you can find them in the Hotel SB Glow (in front of the Torre Glòries) and in the Hotel SB Diagonal Zero (in front of the CCIB).


  • What are you learning now?

That we must never lose the ability to reinvent ourselves and find solutions in the most difficult moments.


  • Who do you know that you think the whole 22@ community should know?

I believe that the 22@ community is made up of companies and professionals who contribute, each in their own field, an important value in the economic and social dynamization of the district and the city. I encourage all those who have not yet joined the community to take advantage of the synergies generated by this alliance.


  • How do you see SB HOTELS in 5 years?

Foreseeing future scenarios with the current health situation is very risky? However, from SB HOTELS we have wanted to remain open during all these months and we have continued offering service to those who might need it. We are convinced that when all this happens, we will have been able to gain the loyalty of many customers who did not know us before this crisis. Moreover, working in an adverse environment always makes organizations and the professionals who manage them grow.
