22@NETWORK BARCELONA PARTICIPATED IN THE INSTITUTIONAL WELCOME CEREMONY OF THE AMERICA'S CUP IN BARCELONA

Last Thursday, August 29, at the Barcelona Maritime Museum, the institutional welcoming ceremony for the 37th edition of the America's Sailing Cup took place where 22@Network Barcelona participated, represented by President Susana Prado and Isabel Sabadí , Director of the association.

The event was attended by King Felipe VI; the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni Cuadrado; the president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa Roca; the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu; the president of the Provincial Council, Lluïsa Moret i Sabidó and Aurora Catà, Vice-president of the 37th America's Cup Luis Vuitton.

During the event, Felipe VI emphasized the impact that the competition will have on the projection of Barcelona at national and international level and, it was highlighted that for the first time, the female and youth editions of this competition will be held.

Finally, both President Illa and Minister Jordi Hereu highlighted the effort to boost the blue economy through sustainability, innovation and technology applied in the latest boat models of the tests in order to take care of the Mediterranean of climate change and that the impact on the territory of Barcelona is as small as possible.
